Abstract: The Loess Plateau Area has the capacity to reach self-sufficient grain in the resource and technological potentialities, which has been proved by the historial experience of grain development, the ten-year-storming of science and technology as well as the investigation and experiments of production potentialities.The grain production in the Loess Plateau Area has continously gained some achievements through efforts in many ways.selecting high-yield, high quality and multi-resistant grain variety and The function and position of applying high-yield, high quality and high efficient complete sets of technologies in grain production have become much more apparent.The policymakers and producers must highly value them, sum them up and spread them to meet the grain demands of people in the next century.
