Abstract: Based on the method of procurement process and some experiences of intermational consulting services for Baise Multipurpose Dam Project under the World Bank’s Guidelines:Selection and Employment of Consultants by the World Bank Borrowers（Revised September 1997,the Guidelines）,this paper draws the conclusion that the World Bank’s procurement policy and methods are demonstrated to be a hihg valuable reference for establishing pertinent regulation and urles for the water conservancy and hydropower construction mardet in China.
