Abstract: This paper introduces the origin and development of DRB,and recounts the composition of DRB members,and sums up the quality standards and basic duties and limits of authority and improper conflicts of interests,studies the eight characteristics of DRB system,and expounds the work content, procedure of dispute settlement and application of DRB in the international engineering.
