Abstract: Based on the characteristics of music education,the article comprehensively expounds the promoting roles played by music education in the quality educaiton.It points out that music education benefits the students′ physical and mental health, helps foster the students′ noble moral character, and contrubutes to the development of the students′ intelligence and creative ability.
