Abstract: That the introduction of culture to the English teaching-the teaching of cultural background knowledge is of great importance to the development of the students’communication ability is discussed here.The introduction of culture to English teaching is carried out in the English classes with methods as the introduction of scenes,the introduction of words,comparison,the discussion of special subject and the supplement out of class.
