Abstract: The new swing basket structure is studied by the plain finite element method and 3D finite element method. The result of the deformation and the mechanical behavior of the structure under varied load cases are discussed. The behavior between the swing basket and the box beam during the construction is studied by the 3D finite element method. According to the comparison of result with the plane and 3D finite element method, the paper puts forward notions for deformation and force properties of the swing basket.
