Abstract: While the richness of English synonyms makes the expression more precise and subtle, it poses a lot of difficulties to English learners as well. This paper aims to show how to learn English synonyms through the effective use of concordancing as well as prove this method a supplement to the study of English synonyms with a dictionary.
