Abstract: For the swinging cylinder type of hydraulic wrench, through the analysis and calculation for the locating parameters of its executive mechanism, formula and design precondition of the locating parameters are presented, with which the minimum of pushing force of the oil cylinder can be achieved under definite swinging angle and given loosening \& tightening torque for the fasteners.
