Abstract: The year of 2008 is the China’s Olympic year.The Olympic spirit is rooted in the hearts of our Chinese people.Universities should fully realize the education value of the Olympics and completely understand the need of Olympic education to university students.By opening the course,using the media,improving the study and research of teachers’ and other ways,such as Olympic teaching and so on to develop university student Olympic education,then to accelerate development of university physical education.
