Abstract: This paper establishes FEM related to the Baoquan lower reservoir dam heightening construction by using ANSYS software. Based on considering different storage water methods and different elastic modulus of old and new dam bodies, it also analyzes the effect of different storage levels and elastic modulus to the dam body displacement and stress.
