Abstract:
The contact status of taper roller bearings' roller and raceway's is stable or not relies on the center of moment and gravity shift in the process of roller enters into contact area from the non-contact area. By using Herz contact hypothesis and Besineq solution, it analyzes and calculates the contact process of taper roller bearing. It also analyzes the influence of crowned roller profile curve to stress under the quasi-static condition. The research shows that in non-uniform curvature contact cases, the unbalance loading effect between roller and raceway affects the posture of running roller, and then worsens bearing stress structure.
