Abstract: With the arrival of big data era,IT has been used widely in every field of social life.As the knowledge sea of preaching,teaching and solving,university is the field of higher informatization.Public Physical Education is the important component of university public curriculum which centers on practice.The application of IT on public Physical Education is more particular than other subjects.Making the application of university public Physical Education teaching as the entry point,it researches and analyzes the shortage and public Physical Education informatization teaching feasibility of traditional public Physical Education teaching methods.It uses teaching practice to prove that public Physical Education informatization teaching has many advantages.It can optimize the university public Physical Education teaching process and offer beneficial reference to improve Physical Education teaching quality.
