Abstract:
In order to investigate the influence of steel-polypropylene hybrid fiber on the axial tensile mechanical property of concrete specimens, 9 groups of steel fiber and polypropylene fiber hybrid specimens were designed with the steel fiber volume of 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and polypropylene fiber volume of 0.1%, 0.15%, 0.2%. The tensile property of reinforced steel-polypropylene hybrid fiber concrete were tested. The results show that steel-polypropylene hybrid fiber is beneficial to improve the tensile strength of concrete, and the volume content of hybrid fiber is an important factor affecting the tensile strength and peak strain. The mixture of steel fiber with volume content of 1.5% and polypropylene fiber with volume content of 0.15%can improve the tensile property of concrete better.
