    非英语专业高职生英语学习负动机动态变化个案研究

    Research on A Case of Dynamic Changes of English Learning Demotivation of Non-English Majors in Vocational College

    • 摘要: 以4 名非英语专业高职学生为研究对象,以动态系统理论为研究视角,通过历时研究探索了其英语学习负动机的变化轨迹及影响因素。 结果发现:动机是一个动态过程,其动态变化轨迹具有个体差异性;负动机的变化是内外因素相互作用的结果;负动机的初始状态具有敏感差异性,负动机的初始水平越高,波动幅度越大;负动机系统存在吸态和斥态,考试是吸态的主要成因,斥态往往出现在考试之后。 为减缓学生的负动机,教师应引导学生强化理想二语自我,传授科学的学习方法,关注学生负动机的动态变化,以提升学生的英语学习兴趣。

       

      Abstract: Based on the dynamic system theory, four non-English major vocational college students were selected as the research objects to explore the changing trajectory and influencing factors of demotivation in English learning. The results show that motivation is a dynamic process, and its dynamic change trajectory has individual differences. The change of demotivation is the result of the interaction between internal and external factors. The initial state of demotivation has sensitive difference. The higher the initial level of demotivation is, the wider the range of fluctuation is; There are attractor and repeller states in demotivation system. Examination is the main cause of attractor state, and repeller state often appears after examination.In order to alleviate students’ demotivation, teachers should guide students to strengthen their ideal L2 self, teach scientific learning methods, and pay attention to the dynamic change of students’ demotivation,so as to enhance students’ interest in English learning.
