Abstract: From the perspective of culture, the carrier is the concrete presentation of culture. As the carrier of the Yellow River culture, the Yellow River literature embodies the wisdom of Chinese civilization, and records and inherits the Yellow River as "the root and soul of the Chinese nation". Based on the kernel of functional equivalence theory, it analyzes the translation difficulties from the classification characteristics of Yellow River literature carriers, combines theory with practice, and summarizes the translation strategies and methods of Yellow River literature carriers, so as to improve the reliability and validity of Yellow River literature translation, and reveal and spread the spiritual quality and philosophical implications of Yellow River culture, and facilitate readers of other cultures to understand "contemporary China" and "once China".
