Abstract: In order to deeply explore the interrelationship of green finance and high-quality economic development, and give full play to the role of finance in promoting economic development, an evaluation index system for green finance development is constructed from four dimensions: green credit, green insurance, green investment and green bonds. The evaluation index system of high-quality economic development should be constructed from five dimensions: scale and efficiency of development, coordination, green development, opening-up and sharing. The panel data of 18 cities of Henan Province from 2017 to 2020 were selected as the research basis, and the coupling coordination relationship of green finance and high-quality economic development was deeply studied by using the good and bad solution distance method, coupling the coordination model, grey correlation analysis and other methods. According to the model calculation result and the characteristics of Henan province, it put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of green finance enabling the high-quality economic development of Henan Province.
