Abstract:
The operation of hydraulic hoist arched gates has been widely adopted in modern water conservancy projects. How to precisely control the gate opening is an important issue for curved weir crest projects. The working principle of a hydraulic hoist is to convert the linear movement of the piston rod into the circular motion of the arched gate. The linear movement of the piston rod, the circular motion of arched gate, and the gate opening form a coupled relationship. By converting the coordinates of the three into the same coordinate system, establishing the motion equation of the piston rod, finding the coupling target value that connects the systems, and then through numerical analysis, deriving the coupled relationship between the piston rod retraction length and the gate opening, it is possible to precisely control the gate opening by controlling the length of the hydraulic hoist piston rod.
