Abstract: Higher vocational colleges not only must strengthen the post skills training, still should pay attention to the cultivation of students' innovation ability. Group interviews and questionnaire are used to investigate 12 education creative workers of different departments and 1200 students of different grades and specialties of Kaifeng University. By analyzing the existing problems in students' innovation ability cultivation, this paper puts forward innovation education idea, establishing innovation teacher team, constructing suitable teaching system, improving the training base constructions.
