Engineering Geological Research on the Siltized Intercalation of Flood-relief Stilling Pool of Xiaolangdi Project

The siltized interealation is an adverse goological condition of flood-relief stilling pol of Xiaolangdi Project and has been the chief geological problem influencing the slope stability of flood-relief stilling pool, In this paper, the shearing index reference values of different types of siltized interethetions are offered by analyzing and studytng the structare characterishcs, types, shapes and propenies of the siltized interealahon inside the stilling pool. According to the siltized interealations of different locationsdifferent engineering processing measures are taken to improve the slope stability of the stilling pool.
