Using Basin Deposition Theory to Study the History and Contribution of Yellow River Continent-making

Beginning with relation models showing that porosities of strata deposition change with their depths, this paper decides the calculating formula of deposition rate, and studies the deposition process of Pohai Gulf Basin in the eastern edges of China, thus offers efficient means for understanding the ancient environments and geological evolution, discusses the history and contribution of Yellow River’s continent-making．
