On Communicative Language Teaching in College English

For a long time,communicative language teaching has been in secondary condition in college English teaching for the backwash effect of test form.With the developement of the opening up and reform policy in our country,it is most necessary to strengthen communicative language teaching in the process of transforming from examination orientated education to quality orientated education.In order to make college English teaching progress much in the 21st century,the way which can truly inprove students’ communicative skill in language should be sought form theory basis,teachers,students,teaching methods,teaching contents,etc.
