The Role of the Appreciation of Texts in College English Teaching

In College English teaching, with the help of the social and cultural backgrounds and the fine diction of a text itself, the appreciation of a text will help students understand it, improve their ability of enjoying English articles, arouse their interests in learning English and develop the ability of communication in order to improve students’ overall quality.
