Prediction of the Pressure of Failure by Corroded Pipe

More Information
  • Received Date: October 02, 2002
  • In this paper, a new method for predicting the pressure of failure by corroded pipes, has been developed. This new method, which takes account of the defect geometry and any interaction with adjacent defects, is based on the upper limit and lower limit of the failure pressure. Moreover, a method of calculating interpolating coefficient is introduced.
