    Analysis on Stability of the New Part of the Yellow River Lankao Section Standard Dykes

    • Long-time practices show that it is a long-term strategic step for flood control to stabilize dykes in the downstream of the Yellow River by “warping,digging,silting and deposition to form a relative underground river”which is a hopeful and great plan.According to analysis and experiments based on shear wave velocity method,standard penetration experiment,cyclic triaxial experiment,standard explosion on the spot,etc.try to research and test the stability of the new dykes and offer some solid academic foundation of design.The authors also analyse the stability of defending slide as to different practical situation.
