Changes of Womenfolk's Conception of Times of Republic of China from Genealogies in Areas of Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province

In Chinese traditional society, most of the women couldn't be written into the genealogies because of the low position. Gone with the great changes in the society, the conception on womenfolk has changed a lot in the Times of the Republic of China （AD1912-1949）. For instance, in Jiangzhe areas, many a genealogy begun to take in women, and appeared the special prescript that womenfolk should be educated, while foot-binding should be abolished.
