Discussion on Public Policy Performance Evaluation from Perspective of Public Participation

The government management and public policy are inseparable. It should regard the public policy performance evaluation as the important component of the government's performance evaluation. As the most important subject influenced by the social public policy, the public should play an important role in the policy performance evaluation. Due to the complexity of public policy, public participation in the performance evaluation must follow the gradual, scientific, multiple principles and carried out with the support of related mechanism, only in this way can it urge the related people to take each interested party's benefit into consideration in public policy making and implementation and to lay stress on the policy of fairness and responsive, then to improve the quality of public policy.
