Study on Zheng-Bian Integrated Development Based on the Viewpoint of City History and Globalization

In order to probe the developing properties of urban region, its historical forming process and effecting factors were reviewed, the common characters of urban region developing was studied from the viewpoint of globalization. The results show that upgrading urban competitiveness is the key factor to develop the urban region. When Zheng-Bian city was taken as an example, the concrete measures were proposed. The Zheng-Bian city should take the globalizing city as its objective, follow the leap-forward development, which based on developing imbalance. The key problem to realize the leap -forward development is to improve the population quality, which purpose and result are to adjust industrial structure and to increase urban fortune respectively.
