Analysis on English poetry The Deserted Village with ecological perspective

This paper analyses the historical background, the creation origin and the main ideas of English writer Oliver·Goldsmith’s poetry The Deserted Village. With the ecological analysis perspective, it discusses the ecological view of Goldsmith by analyzing the past and present different natural environment of the abandoned village, the relationship between the ecological change and social development, man and man, man and nature.
