    On Gravity Dam Section Optimal Design Based on GA-SA and Its Implementation with MATLAB

    • The selection of design variables, the determination of objective function and the setting of constraint conditions of gravity dam section optimal design are analyzed.The genetic algorithm (GA) and simulated annealing algorithm (SA) are combined with to optimize the gravity dam section according to their characteristics.And the optimization steps of the GA-SA hybrid algorithm are discussed,as well as the MATLAB implementation.
