    Synthesis and Characterization of P(NIPAm-co-AMPS) Thermo-sensitive Hydrogel

    • Polymerization (NIPAm-AMPS) was prepared with aqueous initiator.The structure was confirmed by infrared spectrum.The effects of crosslinking agent dosage, AMPS content, aqueous solution a concentration and reaction temperature on phase-transition temperature (LCST) of hydrogels were studied.The results showed that the crosslinking agent dosage had little effect on the LCST of hydrogel.With the increase of AMPS content,the LCST of hydrogel increased gradually.It can control the molar ratio of AMPS and NIPAAm to change the LCST of the gel.For the same kind of material,with the increase of the material aqueous solution concentration,the phase-transition temperature will gradually decrease,and the sedimentation temperature will gradually increase.
