On Selection of Midstream Dike Revetment Project Form of Sinkiang Yarkant River

The Yarkant River midstream is located in the fine soil plain area.It is the loitering river section.The flood dynamic law is extremely complex,the river rises at a great rate, and the flood peak is unusually high.In order to ensure the dike safety, it is necessary to reinforce the foundation. The typical structures of slope bank revetment, vertical bank revetment and dam bank revetment are analyzed. Based on the general situation of Sinkiang Yarkant River midstream riverway, the hydrological and geological condition and construction condition,the dike revetment project form suitable for concave and straight sections of riverway in project area are selected.
