Exploration and Discussion on Application of Blended Teaching in Higher Vocational Engineering Core Curriculum

    • Blended teaching is an organic combination of online and offline, on-class and off-class, traditional teaching and informatization teaching, which is suitable for higher vocational students with uneven foundation and weak self-learning ability. In view of the problems existing in traditional teaching and the advantages of informatization teaching, the necessity of blended teaching for higher vocational engineering core curriculum is put forward. From the aspects of the online platform selection, the mixing degree, the way of curriculum assessment and curriculum construction, it states the problems that should be paid attention to in the implementation of blended teaching. Taking Hydraulic Analysis and Calculation of higher vocational engineering core curriculum as an example, the blended teaching design is carried out and applied in practice. The results show that blended teaching is conducive to improving the teaching quality of higher vocational engineering core curriculum.
