    Analysis on Seepage and Its Stability of Embankment near Yellow River at Different Water Levels

    • The water seepage causes seepage stability failure of the Yellow River embankment and seriously threatens the slope stability of the Yellow River embankment. In order to discuss the influence law of water level change on the embankment seepage stability, by taking embankment near Yellow River as the research object, it establishes the analysis model of embankment seepage stability. It also focuses on the embankment body seepage law under 19 m and 20 m water level action and the seepage stability calculation of the embankment body under seepage action. The research shows that when the water level is 19 m, the safety coefficient of the Yellow River embankment is 2.132. When the water level is 20 m, the safety coefficient of the Yellow River embankment will greatly reduce. And this coefficient is lower than the safety one of 1.3 required by the embankment.
