Research and Application of Optic Fiber Monitoring System of Arch Dam Safety of Baishan Hydropower Station

Safety monitoring is an important means to understand the dam operation safety and also an important basis of dam safety evaluation. The advantages and working principle of optical fiber sensors were analyzed, and the application of optical fiber sensors in dam safety monitoring was discussed by taking the arch dam safety monitoring system of Baishan hydropower station as an example.
