Analysis on Key Points of Design of Riverway Dike in Urban Section

In order to combine riverway in urban section with human and cultural landscape, ecological landscape, road, bridge, etc., it is necessary to design dike with diverse functions. Based on the hidden danger of flood, the current condition of riverway development, it analyzed the construction characteristics of the riverway in urban section, dike layout, the elevation of dike top, the width of dike and the type of dike body. It put forward the design scheme of promotion of waterfront space combining the “point and line”, which was applied to the comprehensive improvement project of a river course.
