    Analysis on “8·18” Rainstorm and Flood of Jindi River Basin of Puyang

    • On August 17 to 19, 2018, influenced by No.18 Typhoon “Rumbia”, there was a heavy rainstorm in the Jindi river basin of Puyang. The rainstorm was strong and covered a wide area, causing floods in some areas. In terms of the rain situation, the characteristics of this rainfall are wide area, large amount, high intensity and concentrated time. In terms of water condition, the flood covered a wide area and increased greatly, and the source of the flood is caused by large-scale rainfall and inflow from the main and tributary streams of Jindi river.
