Preparation and Properties of Polyethylene / MWCNTs Composites

In order to improve the comprehensive properties of PE materials, PE/MWCNTs composites of different proportions were prepared by melt blending method with torque rheometer.The mechanical properties, crystallization properties and thermal properties of PE/MWCNTs composites were researched.The influence mechanism of MWCNTs on PE properties was explored by infrared spectroscopy.The results show that the yield stress, fracture stress, impact strength and crystallization temperature of the composites will increase with the increase of MWCNTs content.
