Research on Application of Rock-plug Blasting on Water Intake Engineering of Water Sources

Taking the rock-plug blasting at the water intake of Lanzhou water source construction project as an example, the characteristics and basic design requirements of rock-plug blasting are analyzed, and the main technical measures and matters needing attention in rock-plug blasting are discussed, such as the determination of rock plug shape and size, the design of slag pit, the layout of blasting holes, the charge structure, the blasting network and the construction process.Through vibration monitoring, the blasting effect is analyzed, and the results show that the blasting scheme is reasonable and feasible.
