Abstract
Digital economy is a driving force for industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as social development. Quanzhou City in Fujian Province has led the way in Fujian GDP for 22 consecutive years, with the digital economy accounting for more than 50% of GDP, which is typical. However, there are problems such as name changes but no changes in content, insufficient setting and small scale, poor cultivation and difficulty in retaining talents, insufficient personnel and disconnection between supply and demand in the specialty construction of higher vocational colleges in Quanzhou City. Therefore, it is necessary for the educational authorities to provide policy support and establish a supply and demand platform. Quanzhou City's higher vocational colleges should also optimize the layout of their specialties, pay attention to the internal quality construction, deepen industrial and educational integration, and further enhance the adaptability of digital talent cultivation, thus providing talent support for the high-quality development of digital economy in Quanzhou City and Fujian Province.
