    Predicament and Breakthrough Path of Reading Promotion in Cultural and Educational Institutions

    • After 20 years of prosperous development of reading promotion in China, there have emerged development predicaments such as blind promotion, passive participation, and homogeneous patterns. Through in-depth analysis, it is discovered that the causes of these predicaments include the weak professionalism of the promotion main body team, insufficient participation of the reading objects, mismatch between resource supply and demand, homogenization and stereotyped promotion means, and inadequate coordination among departments. By building a professional team to enhance the initiative of reading promotion, inspiring reading interest to improve the participation of the objects, focusing on the classification and refinement of resource objects to enhance the targeting of promotion, establishing systematic and modular digital resources to consolidate the foundation of promotion, adopting digital technologies to expand promotion channels, and emphasizing multi-departmental collaboration to enhance the participation of all personnel, the effect of reading promotion can thus be improved.
