    Application of Geotechnical Centrifuge Technology on Geological Hazards Research in Mountainous Areas

    • Geotechnical centrifuge is an important equipment in the experimental study of geological disaster model. By rotating at high speed, it produces a centrifugal acceleration to simulates a hypergravity environment. When applying centrifuge to simulate the geological disaster experiment in mountainous area, the requirements of model scale ratio are different. It summarizes the research status and experimental scale ratio requirements of landslide, rainfall and debris flow model experiments. It also concludes the progress and future development direction of centrifuge technology at home and abroad.
